How Did You Make Watercolor Opah?

I created Watercolor Opah using a combination of ink and watercolor, blending the boldness of line work with the fluid, expressive quality of watercolor paint. The opah is one of the most fascinating and visually striking fish I've come across; its unusual, rounded body shape paired with its vibrant, iridescent coloration makes it a truly unique subject. I was especially drawn to its vivid hues, which often shift between silvers, reds, and oranges. This piece was a fun exploration of texture and color, and a chance to highlight the natural beauty of a creature that often flies under the radar in marine art.
