Dive into Creative Waters with a Tropical Fish II Artistic Notebook

The Tropical Fish II Spiral Notebook transforms your note-taking experience with its stunning watercolor cover art. Created in 2024 using ink, watercolor, and water on canvas paper, this meticulous artwork required approximately 60-70 hours to complete, with careful attention to prevent smearing and bleeding. The vibrant underwater scene showcases an array of tropical fish species including tangs, parrotfish, damselfish, needlefish, and wrasses, reflecting the artist's passion for ocean life and marine ecosystems.

enlightenedFun Fact: Can fish swim backwards? In general, most fish are unable to swim backwards, and this is part of the reason why you sometimes find fish stuck in strange places. However, a few members of the eel and flatfish families are able to swim backwards!

How Did You Make Tropical Fish II?

I made Tropical Fish II in 2024 with ink, watercolor, and water on canvas paper. The whole piece probably took me around 60 or 70 hours to complete and had to be done in various stages so as not to cause too much smearing or bleeding. I am a big fan of the ocean (if you can't already tell by much of the art I do), and I enjoyed adding in all the different species of tropical fishes including tangs, parrotfish, damselfish, needlefish, and wrasses
